Last night we
slept with the family in
Lat Krabang for the first time during this journey.
We slept reasonably well, although it takes some getting used to.
Breakfast is meager, namely coffee and old rice, there is nothing in the house.
We want to go to the hairdresser today, get our hair cut.
Especially Tom has long hair.
When Pia calls the intended hairdresser, it turns out that she doesn't have time today, but
she will tomorrow.
So tomorrow.
After some messing around in the house, especially tidying up, we go to the Paseo Lat Krabang to do the necessary shopping. We have access to a car, it will be Tom's first time to drive himself this trip. It takes a few minutes to get used to and then it goes well; everything is familiar, the traffic, the almost empty fuel tank.
In the Paseo Lat Krabang we first go to the bank where Pia's Thai state pension, about 600 Thb per month, comes in. And then to an optician to find out what a new pair of reading glasses costs for Tom, we are not shocked at the price. Finally, we go to Villa Market, the supermarket, to get groceries.
In the evening we eat something, watch TV and go to bed on time.
